Dr Alex Cotter graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2013 with a Bachelor of Medicine, Surgery and Medical Science. Whilst working in Melbourne hospitals, she completed further training and studies, achieving a Certificate of Women’s Health through the Royal Australian College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and a Diploma in Child Health through Macquarie University and the Westmead Children’s Hospital.

Dr Cotter was admitted to the fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2018, and has experience working as a general practitioner in Warrnambool in regional Victoria.

Dr Cotter’s special interests include women’s health and child and adolescent health. She enjoys providing healthcare for the whole family and the opportunity to get to know her patients well in the general practice setting.
