Dr Carolyn Sharwood graduated from Monash University in 1992. She achieved her Diploma of Obstetrics in 1997, a Family Planning Certificate in 1999 and her fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 1999. She has worked in General Practice ever since including several years at the Royal Children’s hospital in a homeless youth service and juvenile detention.

Dr Sharwood joined Hoppers Crossing Medical Centre in 1997 and has a special interest in Women’s health and enjoys doing shared care with Werribee Mercy Hospital and Sunshine. She is also a Methadone prescriber.
