Project Description

Make An Appointment

Dr Sue Scala obtained her medical degree from Monash University in 1975 with 1st Class Honours. Following some hospital experience in Melbourne and Geelong, she worked for several years as a GP in Geelong. She and her family then moved to Hoppers Crossing and she begun working at the Hoppers Crossing Medical Centre, fairly soon after this longstanding practice was first established. She has been with the Hoppers Crossing Medical Centre for over 30 years and combined her work here with part-time sessions at the Australian Red Cross Blood Service over a similar period until leaving the Blood Service in 2014.

In addition to enjoying a varied general practice, she still maintains an interest in haematology from her Blood Service days. In general practice she particularly likes working with women through all their life stages, as well as getting to know her elderly patients and also doing some general counselling.
